What to Expect
We know it's not easy visiting a church for the first time whether you are new to the area, a seasonal visitor, or you are being led to find out more about Jesus Christ. You are probably not sure what to expect and may have questions. The information below is designed to help you feel comfortable enough to visit us and feel welcome enough to ask questions.
Blue Ridge Methodist Church is a traditional Wesleyan Methodist church that stands on the Word of God as found in the Old and New Testaments. All are welcome at Blue Ridge Methodist Church with the hope that participation in the worship services will be personally meaningful and spiritually rewarding. Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month during the Worship Service.

BRMC Worship Hours
SEEKERS BIBLE STUDY: 9:30 am in Room 115.
SENIOR LADIES SUNDAY SCHOOL: 9:30 am in Room 109.
WORSHIP SERVICE: 10:30 am in the Sanctuary.

Parking
Handicapped parking is available on both the left and right sides of the parking lot.
Drop-Off Areas
A circular driveway is located at the front entrance to the church to let people out before you park. On the right side of the church building is a second drop-off area that is covered to use in inclement weather. Turn left to get to the front of the Sanctuary from this entrance.
Dress
You will find people attending in everything from sports coats to blue jeans. We hope you enjoy our casual atmosphere.
Fellowship Time
Come early for a cup of coffee and a light snack between 10:00 and 10:20 am inside our Hospitality and Welcome Area. Meet some of our members, pick up brochures, and watch the monitor for a glimpse of upcoming events and activities. There are places to sit available for those who need it. Should you wish to enter the Sanctuary for quiet time and prayer, an usher will assist you.
Sign Our Guest Book
When you arrive, a member of our Net Team will be at the door to greet you. You will be directed to our Welcome Center where you will be asked to sign our guest book and put on a name tag so all can welcome you. Know that your visit is important to us and you will not be singled out during our Worship Service.
Ushers
There will be ushers to hand you a bulletin as you enter the Sanctuary doors and to help you find a seat should you need it. They can also assist with any handicap needs you may have.
Sign Our Attendance Pad
Look for the attendance pads on each row of seats in the Sanctuary, we ask that both our members and visitors fill these out each week.
Bible & Hymn Books
Two large screens are located in the Sanctuary so you may follow the lyrics to the hymns, responsive readings, and scriptures during the service.
Communion
We offer communion on the first Sunday of each month. We believe communion should be available to all who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; therefore, our communion is available for all Christians to experience.
Nursery & Preschool
The Children's Ministry Team has Nursery and Preschool classes that are available from 9:00 am until the end of the Worship Service. Your Net Team representative will show you where the Nursery and Preschool classes are located. Our Nursery and Preschool staff have gone through background checks for your peace of mind.
