We had over 50 women attend the 'Come to the Table' workshop sponsored by Grace in Him Ministries and the Blue Ridge Methodist Women of Grace.
Our first speaker was Rev. Geri Worley, Retired Supply Pastor for the Global Methodist Church.
Rev. Dr. DeDe England, Pastor of Tri-State Christian Center in Morganton, GA was our 2nd speaker.
Emma Mitchell, the Worship Leader for the Worskhop, Rev. Denise Caldwell, Pastor of Barbor ministries in McCayesville, GA, and Denise Shinpaugh, Dir. of Music & Activities at Harbor Ministries led us in music as we lifted up our voices to Praise the Lord!
Doreen Landry, Missionary to the Incarerated, Fannin County Jail and Lee Arrendale State Prison for Women spoke to us about encouragement in Christ
It was a day of fellowship and an acknowledgement of our shared faith in Christ. We hope that you will join us next year!
Monthly meetings for the Women of Grace are held on the third Thursday of each month at 10:00 am. in the Fellowship Hall. This meeting allows fellowship time with a devotional, a program, and light refreshments. We alternate between a spiritual program and a presentation about local mission opportunities.
Special activities and projects for the Women of Grace are held either on a Saturday or in the evening to allow for the attendance of all members of the Circle. This includes workshops, retreats, and fundraising efforts for our mission projects.
Contact the Church Office at blueridgemethodistga@gmail.com or call 706-632-2327 for more information. We hope you will join us at one of our meetings soon.
Each year, the Women of Grace give back to the community. Checks have been presented to Fannin County Family Connection, Habitat for Humanity, Shop with a Cop, Snack in a Backpack, and the Mineral Springs Center.
Women of Grace donate to Fannin Family Connections.
